~~~ 08+ Side Skirt ideas
As my rear bodykit project ends completion will be working on side skirts, and borrowing some ideas from abroad. In the coming days and weeks I will working with some on the board here attempting to draft some photoshop visuals. 08Lancer89 has been very kind in waiting for me to get caught up. lol sorry!!!
One bodykit that caught my eye was one mentioned by a buddy of mine in ClubRSX (Canada chapter) Made by Chargespeed. here is an image. Remember only interested in the side skirts here
I think I can make it to have a good line up to the EVO X bodykit.
Too many curves to it. Something with the same idea but with a more straightforward design would look much better imo
I currently am going with the EVO X bodykit from bodykits.com they have sponsored the rear section. I have a review in the works that goes thru the preping and install process and the final product. yes its a ***** to work with because its fiberglass, but the cost can be mitigated if you sell your stock parts on the market. I have someone willing to pay 950 for my stock black rear bumper. There is a serious shortage of parts in Canada so people are willing to pay that much.
I am happy with it. I will take some new pics as soon as possible. currently I have the video of the preping
looks like its coming along good evosoul..some questions tho im about to order the same kit in about a month..how well is the front and side skirts going on? you think the front bumper is gonna be more to deal with than the rear?
i was going to try to wait for more kits to come out but i love that kit except for the rear bumper..so im jsut going to order the kit and sell the rear bumper and get this rear bumper
http://www.customautotrim.com/bodyki...8-2009/103944/
i think it looks really nice..although no duals, easy custom work can fix that.
wait a while I think some new kit style may hit in a month. I like the EVO X kit because I am going to design a custom diffuser. the kit link you just referenced looks good. But I cant testify to anything about it. Only thing I can comment on is the kit I have in my hands. As for the front end I am guessing it may be more of a ***** to work with but thats only speculation. Try looking on the net for other people with the same kit. then try to talk to the bodyshop that did the work. you dont want to get into something you cant afford. Its also important to be aware of the time line, sometimes the item has to be made for you then shipped, can take up to a month in some cases. Or if the item is in stock then it ships out and you get it in a week. Its better to talk to them on the phone to find out which is the case
