DC-5 on Eibachs

Dropped on Eibach springs DC-5 wheels with custom Rally Red lip (original lip was bright red, had it painted to match the Lancer's paint).

I wish it was lower. I hate seeing a gap between the tires and fender.

Side by side with my other baby.

Wow. I'm looking to buy these wheels but wanted to wait till I saw a picture of them on a GTS. Looks pretty good. What size did you get? They don't seem like 18s though.

Their 18s, I should have gotten 19s. I'm really hating the gap too. I wish someone would come out with coilovers already.

The DC-6s and DC-5s are pretty sweet wheels. Im not a fan of the red stripe though. Still looks good. I wanna see a set of 19s.

btw, how much is the drop with the eibachs?

How do you like the Eibachs? Are they stiffer than stock?

BTW, nice work on the 2-tone - you should get a carbon hood to carry on the black

Looks good but can you get more side-on pics? Its hard to see the rideheight from those angles.

Eibach's are around 1" drop. I want coilovers, but I guess I'll have to wait and see if they make em for the car. The ride on eibach's are generally pretty smooth and this is no different. Could hardly tell the difference in ride quality. I chose the eibach's cuz that's what I got the hook up price with and I'm hoping that this will be a temporary drop until coilovers come out. The red strip definitely makes the wheel look small, but it's not really my car and the decision was not mine to make, it's my girls car (I suggested bronze but she wanted to copy my S2K with the flat black and red pin striping on the lip, though her's is more than a pin striping).

I'm not too sure about a carbon fibe hood, when I had it painted I thought about extending the black on the hood but didn't want to over do it. Next thing I wanna do it have it reupholstered in leather and I'm waiting for RRM's turbo for the CVT . I might upgrade the wheels to 19's but I'll do that if I get coilovers.

I say go 19's. It sounds big, but seeing the 18's on this new body style makes me think that 18's on this body style are like 16's on the previous. Maybe it's the stripe though, or just the lack of a drop. I do like the wheels. I guess the only thing to do now is drop it and see if that makes a difference.
