wingless oz. what to do?

ok, so the evo wing in gone and im goin wingless.

i think it looks pretty clean without anything on it at all, so if i could fill the holes easily i would just do that, but ive been quoted about 200 to weld them all.

then there is always the rexpeed lip that uses the same holes, but then i still need to have the center hole filled...

if i could do anything, id prolly get a cf trunk and hood to match, or fill all the holes and get the other rexpeed lip that just goes on the corner. that thing looks so clean!

but... dont need to spend the money on all that right now with my turbo needin a few things, and i need new shocks badly, sooo.... fill all the holes and maybe get a cheap ebay lip spoiler, or fill the center hole and get the rexpeed type c?

Rexspeed. Fit and finish will probably be better. Ebay could warp or just be more trouble than it's worth.

there's a store on ebay that sells OEM wings, with or w/o the center leg,
I've got one on my car and it hasn't given me any trouble, and it looks
pretty good to me

or if you are planning on staying wingless, definitely gonna want to get those holes filled...

find a trunk from a scrap yard?

i know my lancer isnt the only one that came from the factory without a wing (glad it did though)

that rexpeed thing is pretty gay looking IMO, id rather have a trunk with holes.

Here is what I did man. I took a piece of scotch tape and stuck it up on the underside of the hole. You leave a little dip below the hole, but not a big one. Next you fill the hole with silicone. The tape keeps the silicone from dripping down. Let it dry for about 20 minutes and reapply again because there will be slight dip. I filled the whole three times and it was perfectly flush. The next step you can do is to get touch up paint (My car is white, so I didn't need paint) and just slightly color the silicone. Should be hard to notice and will work perfectly well until you have the money to get it fixed properly.

yeah ive worked with fiberglass and body filler some with audio stuff, so i was goin to do that, but ive gata get a small dent to filled as well from the accident i had. so i think ill just get the body shop that paints it to weld them. but the best price ive got so far is 200 to weld all of them :/

lotta time waiting on it to do it this way. haha. I bought a flat round clip thing at napa. Painted it red. used silicone to "glue" it over my hole. done. had it like that for a month when I had my evo wing on my stock oz trunk. worked great. I then got a CF trunk instead of having someone fill the hole and repaint the trunk.

200 bucks is an awesome price.. lol i got quoted 400 dollars so i just filled it myself. lol, cut off pieces of the spoiler (the center piece that i took off anyways), super glued it underneath, fill the small hole with some puddy (i forgot actually what i bought to fill it up, sorry), sanded the small area down a little, taped around, applied touch up paint.

hahaha, but honestly you can still see there was a small hole there before because i rushed and did all of this in the middle of the night cause i couldnt sleep, but it's better than nothing and no one can really see it unless they go up to the car and look closely. cost me 15 dollars for everything and took a few hours i believe...
