Wouldn't there be leakage issues with taking them apart? I'm not about to tear open my 1 week old lights.

I'm going to take a look at them tomorrow. It's raining right now.

Also going to the tint shop tomorrow, an I'll ask if they can do anything.

Instead of making a new thread, What the hell do the 2 reflectors do at the bottom of the rear bumper? They're on a lot of newer vehicles and I hate the look of them.

I just used leftover taillight tint vinyl and just covered the 3rd brake light (didn't even take out the light to tell you the truth).

edit: I just saw the ebay thing, 12 dollars omg lol... I'm sure someone can just mail you a little left over piece for the price of a stamp lol

The reflectors on the bumper are just for a little added safety... but who needs that.

You can tint them too, or just try to find some black reflexive tape and put over them. Try your local sign maker, they should have some.

After somebody does it all, they need to post pics on here.

Thanks for the helpful input.

I went to my tint guy today, and he talked about all kinds of different types and ways of applying. He'd have to order a kit.

I used Niteshades spray tint on my 3rd brakelight and it turned out great. I also used black spray paint made for plastic on my rear reflectors. (They stood out like a sore thumb on my black GTS) I believe they are required under DOT regulations, just as the amber reflectors are in the front.

I just got done reading a few threads on different car sites, and the outcome with Niteshades always looks good. Just have to take your time. I'm now swaying in that direction. Shouldn't be too long before manufacturers start selling aftermarket tails, then people will start selling their stockers. So if I mess up or change my mind, I could always go back.
