what do you guys think?
i wanna do some small mods for now. not too serious about it yet since im going to college soon and i would probably want a new car after college. i wanna get a new paintjob(red) but i need to save up money since im moving out in a couple of months to las vegas(in bay area/ca right now). its a used car and the old owner had it completely stock and had scratches on it.

im planning on getting windows tinted next because im moving to the desert. since i cant get a red paintjob on it, ill try to get touch ups. (any guesstimations on prices?)
i was also thinking of eyelids and possibly a spoiler (does evo wing fit?)
im still a lightweight on modding cars so any advice would be cool. im also spending my own money so i cant do the really pricey stuff yet.. (im planning to get a valet parking job in the strip haha)

 

First off welcome to the forums This place has pretty much anything you'd ever want to know about your car, and probably a few things you don't lol.

Having said that, I like the black wheels with the red lip, really slick. Looks like it's been dropped too, either way looks really good.

Only advice I can really give you on modding is don't go over the top. Lancers are small cars and should be modded accordingly... but everyone's different, we all have different opinions on what looks good, (you'll find that out quick on this site), So just remember, as long as you think it looks good, go for it and don't worry about what anyone else says.

BTW Evo wings do fit.

 

Doesn't seemed dropped to me, but I could be wrong, we have well become known that I know nothing about drops lol, at least in the case of finding one. However I do agree, black with the black rims with red paint looks NICE. Keep it black, don't paint it

I never thought that having a black car made the car hot...But I guess who knows? lol

I do like when rims have a small little part of red at the very end, but the entire lip painted red looks pretty weird. Did they come like that, or is it a 'custom' paint job?

I'd say get some back headlights and taillights.

I swear there was a complication to this where in the shade, black was cooler but in the sun, black was hotter or vice versa.

 

I can vouch for that as my brother just got an 01 Jetta in black and my Lancer is white. It's like volcano hot in his car in the sun, but my car seems steamy in the shade. I dunno?

I've been trying for 4 years since I got my license, but I guess they want you over 21 before they even consider you, which makes sense lol.
