Zenon hood

I bought the zenon hood from shark racing does anyone know what i can do to the vents to keep water off the engine?

I don't exactly know what they look like but I'd think it would take some pretty serious fabrication. Cutting some plastic to fit under them. I don't know how secure this would be and I personally wouldn't do it but the least you could do would be to glue them??

this is definatly one of those "do it yourself" jobs.

didn't you think of this before you bought the hood?

Well, covering them will effectively make the hood non-functional...but you could use just about anything. Personally, I just don't see why it's a big deal if the engine gets wet.

the only reason I can see is if he has a short ram intake and doesn't want it getting wet

I'm not very familiar with this hood and don't know where the vents are.

It shouldn't hurt if you're driving it. It really shouldn't be a problem unless your car is parked and it's a downpour. In which case you could use a car cover if you don't have a garage or carport.

I was looking at the vis cf hood ...it looks so much better than the one i have...i wonder if i will have the same problem the holes in the vents look much smaller
