its only on there til i get my kit
so everything may look tacky n wierd now
but when it comes in itll look way better

 

doesn't look bad. once u get it the same color of the car, it'll look nice. i just think it looks diff from an evo if u take of the evo wing. besides that, props. i always wanted a flush trunk and the license plate on the rear bumper. looks weird being so high.

 

that is awesome...i never liked the style of trunk they had on those cars, i'm glad they went back to the way they did the 02-03

yeah i was gonna say if you weren't getting a bodykit to cut into the bummer and then mount the license plate...but i can't wait to see what it will look like with the kit on

 

I don't understand why you guys spend so much $ trying to look like Evo's when you're clearly not...Can someone please enlighten me?

 

Because every time a base Lancer is modded, people think it's trying to be an Evo. The current US Lancer is heavily over-shadowed by its superior big brother. But what people don't realize is the Lancer has been around way before the Evo.

 

i think this looks really good, but i wouldnt want to be a fake evo. there are alot of cool things you can do that isnt copying a evo

 

im not really trying to make it look like an evo
if i did id go buy one

which i plan on doing in the future
im trying to make lancer stand out from the others

You will occasionally get Evo owners that will give you a hard time for modding your Lancer, get used to it. I've been there. You will notice eventually that a lot of Evo guys and Lancer guys don't get a long. It's sad but in the end it's all about what you want to do. You're only trying to please yourself.
