Full light change =)
I'm a little disappointed that some of you guys have so little concern for the courtesy issue. Don't get me wrong, I love HIDs and Sofla's look great... but there's something to be said for courtesy to your fellow drivers. We all know bright lights (highs or HIDs) glaring towards you is a pain in the a$$, but in most cases it's little more than that... but what happens in the off chance that it causes an accident? How much would you care then? A lot of people have the train of thought that "People are discourteous to me on the the road all the time, so I don't give a f*** about 'rules of the road' anymore! If they do it, I'm gonna do it!" Where does that get us though? It's just one more driver out there not signaling, blinding people with its lights, cutting people off, and so on who could possibly inspire more people to think/do the same and it just keeps snowballing until the whole place has gone nuts. Things like that lead to frustrated drivers and driving frustrated is a recipe for bad things. Can't we all agree that if the roads were filled with more courteous drivers, they'd be a much better place to drive? Sure there's always going to be jerks out there, but do we really need to add ourselves, too? Perhaps with more of us driving courteously, less would feel the need to cast off courtesy themselves. (I feel like there should be some kind of inspirational music playing in the background throughout this whole thing.) Anyway, I don't know, call me crazy, but I for one don't think courtesy is something to be taken lightly and I certainly know what the opposite can do other people's moods cuz it happens to me all the time, and really, it's just unnecessary. HIDs are great, but even better when they're done right. Like Spider-Man's uncle said, "With great power comes great responsibility," and think that can apply just as accurately to headlights as it does to radio-active spider bites. Not trying to flame anyone on here. Just trying to stick up for a value I've really taken a hold to lately.
Oh, and someone mentioned HIDs being like tint as far as legality.... tint has less of a direct impact on other drivers than headlights. Where headlights can get in someone's eyes and cause them to lose sight of or veer off the road or something, tint cannot. The issue with tint, if I'm not mistaken, has to do with police protection. They need to be able to see into a car they've pulled over so they are less vulnerable to ambush from passengers with weapons inside.

But 10k isnt really bright at all , 8k is way brighter
I can't believe people's ignorance towards other people on the road.
I don't mind cars blinding me when they are coming at me but when a jerk comes behind with bright *** lights and tailgates that pisses me off. When they coming at you its only for like 5 seconds, which is not cool but bearable. Bright *** lights blinding you from your rear view mirror and side mirror sucks.
Agreed, I love how people act like they have a right to be jerks to other drivers with lights so bright they blind people. I'm sure a lot of people ***** and moan about truck drivers with bright lights so why do the same to others? Just a bit of info, those lights actually reduce your ability to see at night.
well my 10k headlights look more like 8k in my opinion
and ive had the headlights in for like 6 months now.......and ivepassed by plenty of cops
and since i threw the fogs on ive driven past plenty of cops......last night on a completely unlit road i passed a county sherriff and he didnt do anything soo...
