so i was thinkin about getting these tails for my car
cuz i dont think blacking them out would ok or idk
cuz the stock tailights look real plain n boring

there supposedly carbon fiber but there the closest thing to matching my car

Just black out your tail lights, I did it on my 05 evo with nightshade and it looked good

 

yea but your evo is black and it goes perfect with black on black

mine is grey
so idk if it throw it off ya know
idk if it be to black or something
unless they sell the nightshade in grey lol

 

lol you dont have to just totally murder the tail lights out, just put a light spray. My friend had a silver evo and blacked out his head light and tail lights and it looked ****.

Do you have other carbon fiber on your car? It may look weird if the taillights were the only cf peice

 

I ahve the same ones.....but.....I only paid 85. I got imitation looking ones I guess, note to you do NOT get CF tail lights because the lancer isn't going to be any faster with them, lol.

 

Ya if you just go a light coat of nightshade it should look good, and if you dont like it just get some paint thinner and whip em off. When you darken em though make sure you take the covers off and do them on the inside... some ppl are actually stupid enough to spray the outside haha

 

Left is lightsmoked vinyl and the right is regular just to put stuff in perspective




Doesn't changed it that much but just enough to let you know they got darker and No... just because you smoke them doesnt mean your trunk turns into carbon fiber
