pic's of my lowered lancer

Alright, I'm sure most of you saw my thread with my lancer on 18's running on stock height. Well now, thanks to pisetup, I am running with intrax springs. They lower the front of the car 1.5 inches and the rear 1.4 inches. My wheel specs are as follow...18x7.5" with a 40mm offset and 215/35/18 tires and I am currently experiencing NO RUB! Well here are the pictures. They don't really do the car justice cause they make it look like I have more wheel gap than I actually do. Just for reference I can only stick 2 fingers in the front wheel well and I can't fit one finger in the rear. well here they are...

Man your car looked great at the meet. I can't believe you got those 18's and a drop in there.

Thanks James. Here's one more picture I took for fun. The first time I backed down the driveway my friend almost **** himself...he thought I was about to f*ck up my exhaust and bumper

Hah, ya that's pretty close.

I almost **** myself after the meet, haha. When we were leaving from Ale House, I was driving next to Tom in his Blue Evo and I was driving behind a car and I looked over at Tom and looked back and the guy was slamming on his brakes. I almost hit him in the back but I had to lock up my brakes. Good thing my brakes are good and I stopped with a lot of room to spare. If I didn't look back in time I would have hit him maybe at 35-40 mph. That would have sucked. I was mad at myself for doing that, but Tom's car is so nice I just had to look at it! Haha.

nice, i wanna lower my lancer soon, thanks for the inspiration. Im thinking of keeping my stock oz rims on, i hear they are light weight. would my car look cool with stock rims and a body kit and lowered?

Yeah, the stock wheels were definately lighter than my 18's. But I'm not sure how they would look with a body kit though.

Like ****...the oz rims are 15 inchers...thats really really small...personally i am gonna go with some rota 17 or 16s they fit alittle better plus they are wider than the oz rims that are really narrow.

I like it. Looks really good. Stock it does look a little 4 x 4 style. All you did to drop it was the springs?

Yep, all I used were the intrax springs.
