i want to set my 02 OZ apart from the rest and decided to paint the side skirts and lower bumpers. i was just wondering, should i use any special paint or at least more clearcoat because they're closest to the ground to get dinged, also flat or gloss black? and i tried photoshopping the top black, quick job, im not really liking it but maybe someone could do it better.

everyones got there own opinions i think ive seen a yellow Oz on here that has the top painted black like that.
i think it'd be cool to paint your car orange or green or like ablue color that would be hot... if i had more $ thats what ide do

 

dude just leave the color the way it is unless its all messed up.. then you should paint it over and one solid color not something like that... personally it just kills the lines of the car if you paint it black and yellow... lancer is not that aggresive to pull it off anyways... keep it clean and have fun...

Dide you even TRY on photoshop? In any case, I don't like the OZ kits when they are painted different from the rest of the car. Don't do any nonsense like that, I would have to agree with SA, get some CF stuff if you want to change some color.

I'd stick to one color. If you were to go with a two tone job though, pick colors that mesh well together. Yellow and black is meant for bumble-bees as stated above
