vent lights>

the lights that some ppl put in their vents to make light come out of them.....what exactly r they called? and which brand is the best quality? ive been trying to search for them but i cant find

They are LED's...I don't know what brand is the best or if there is a best brand cause most LED's are the same quality.

LED is acronym for Light Emitting Diode. It’s pretty much a p-n junction in forward-bias, typically made of aluminum-gallium-arsenide (AlGaAs). Check out a good classic semiconductor physics book like Physics of Semiconductor Devices by Simon M. Sze. Must have if you’re into semiconductor physics.

you can also get yourself a set of VARAD led's which has the resistor already configured to the LED, and you can get these from ebay...or if you know how to wire up the led's on your own, then radio shack would be the place to go, since they are cheaper there with seperate resistors

another option is street glows headlight neons. its a small tube, diameter of a pencil, and about 1 inch long. get 2 in a pack
