Have you considered going with gold lugs or something along those lines? I think in order for red lugs to look good, you need to have red accents elsewhere like the brake calipers. As for a tow hook, I can see getting one if you actually race but otherwise, a clean bumper looks far better than one hacked up.
For gold rims, I would go black or maybe titanium. Red would be overwhelming. It was my understanding that the JDM racer look was to have the tow hook actually come out of the bumper, not underneath.
why just red or black? i have seen gold,green,purple,blue ,(all anodized) i had pink anodized on my 05 sti it looked sweet. have black on my bronze rims bby 05 evo 8.if you get red they will probably look a little pink.i would go with black.

now the only domo i have is the one on my trunk that says kill and the stuffed domo that rides shotgun with me
black lugz because you want to leave it clean. No need to ruin it with a color that is nowhere else on the car, and for gods sake, FORGET the tow hook. That's the equivalent of putting a fire extinguisher on the inside of the car, it's stupid.
