So i've changed the cig lighter, the HVAC controls, and added some under the dash floor lights....I've changed the Auto shifter illumination. Everything looks great but the shifter, is there a coating on the inside of this I need to remove? It's looking more pale yellow/white than amber... I know this is an issue with the dash cluster (only found these in Blue, which should look nice with the amber) and the place I found that does the work actually exchanges your cluster for one they've removed the film from as I guess it's coated to work best with red from the factory. Is this the same with the shifter console?

If anyone's got any suggestions, that's cool. Otherwise I'll just buy 2-3 replacements and start experimenting...
