They should not be... work with the dampening, and make sure they are not set too low. There is a pamphlet between the inner and outer box that give the max/min height settings.

 

They do not bounce much at all. Its very tight and stiff since I have it on track settings. I don't have the car slammed either since it would defeat the purpose of improving the handling. I just bought rota g-forces gunmetal in 18x8.5. Throw on some 235s summer tires and this car would be a circuit superstar hahaha.

Sadly, that's the widest we can go with lancers as far as tires and wheels are concerned. This is gonna be my daily driver/autocrosser until insurance prices on an Evo for a person under 25 in the State of New Jersey (most densely populated state in the country) come down which may never happen. But man o man, these coilovers definitely prove what this chassis is capable of in the handling department.

Will be receiving them in mid-December since it was a special order. I already placed a deposit. I just ordered the tires today though. I ordered through wheeldude. The wheels have a good amount of concavity and would sit flush with my fenders.
