well ive had my car for a whileeeee but didnt think i had enough goin on to make a build thread.... but now i think im coming along

sooooooooooo heres my car's story hope you enjoy:

at the dealer



i picked her up in november of 05



that june my first mod was rims i went with 17x7 enkei rs6's wrapped in toyo proxies, i also got an evo 7 style grill





then i went with some ebay tails i had a chrome exhaust tip too just for show (dont really like either in retrospec)




i also got an ebay muffler installed

now... all this stuff happened before the end of the summer of 06

but one fateful day in febuary of 07 i slipped on a fresh snow in my car and rammed into a huge rock on the side of the road.

the damage ended up being horrible the place i had my car towed to said i needed a new control arm and strut on my passenger side front which ran me 700.00 if i recal correctly and my right side of my bumper got chipped badly as you will see in pics below.

but the bad luck didnt end there i also bent a rims later that year on potholes

and my right front brake kept squeaking and while i drove my car like clicked on that side. i brought the car in like 4 times no lie and they kept saying it was a warped rotor and that ran me alot

i bent another rim in the summer of 07 and just took em off, i also bought some evo VII style tails and painted my grill black

these are from fall of 07








finally in the spring of this year (08) i found my new garage and they found that since the accident my front axel was bent and kept ****ing up my brakes and rotors!!!! that ran me another g. but my cars running great now...

over the summer i blaked out my headlights, got a vortex generator, and painted my hubcaps






so anyway i have done some other stuff but i dont have pics yet ill post some tomorrow.....

but over the years i have accumulated some stuff, i have an oz lip kit and an rrm type II lip, i have an evo 8 spoiler i may or may not install...

this i got from lancerfreak an old member its damaged but im fixing it and in a week or two will be ready to go on.



so my plan for my car is this:

megan or ksports coilovers
16x6 rota boost in gold
rexpeed type-c spoiler
depo projector headlights (when they make them w/ black housings
maybeee the jdm evo9 mr tails
tints not sure how dark
greddy exhaust
rmr sri

lo vin your car. gonna need a drop soon. too bad coilovers are so expensive. i just put my rims on and hating the wheel gap :x

the only extra lip ill have is the stock oz front lip if you want it ill sell you it

so yesterday i colormatched my grill and started to sand down my rrm type 2 lip ill post pics of the lip when its done but heres the grill and my jdm badges!!!

 

good job on the grill dude..... looks way better now fix that lip and paint it too... i think you should put ur springs on too for now until you get coil overs man....

 

+1 i bought springs just until i can save up for coilovers which im doing now
plus then when you get your coilovers u can turn around and sell your springs and get some money back

yeah im actually in the process of selling my springs now haha

im saving up for coils now tho so it shall be soon... hopefully

and yeah i only got the rrm type II lip from lancerfreak he used to be a member on here, i think he sold his lancer, but it was boosted and had the techsports bodykit on it
