thats a possibility but im thinking one of the two designs
leaning more towards the second one either same red as my emblems or a chrome red

yea alot of the evos have them, but after seeing this pic, im positive im going this route- not a lancer but the whole red lip to match the red grill lining is nice

 

you can also do vinyl overlays on the emblems instead of having to deal with the painting and de-badging and such.
i did mine blue with vinyl and you can't even tell its not stock.

So what do you think you'll accomplish by this time next year?

 

well the exterior should be done,
rrm lip, skirts, custom head&tail lights, tint, fogs, cf hood
then I will start buying a bunch of bolt ons, I'm not gonna boost
Just Headers, new intake (cai) full cat back exhaust, rrm piggybank, couple guages, then some bucket seats and paint my front panels to match...

That's all lol, but I should be in the coast guard by then, so all that will depend on when I leave, the good thing is, a better income= more mods
