Opinions on grille please!?

Here's the cole's notes.

Driving down highway about a year ago, dumptruck drops some rocks, chips hood + VIS CF grille.

Go to autopac (insurance)

Paint hood -- autobody place says 'can't fix grille, must replace, can't get replacement, you get replacement, send bill to autopac"

Fastforward a year, and about 5 **** ups by autopac and misinformation from them, and here I am today, finally got a shop to order the replacement.

Here's what the shop tells me happened. VIS comes back -- CF grille not in stock, must make from scratch, lead time 6-8 months. Ok, fine, I don't even bloody care anymore.

Came in the other day so I go to pick it up.

Story II. Go to shop, they tell me this;

VIS went out of business, bought out by C-west. This is a c-west grille. FIBREGLASS. No CF for 02/03 (disco). SO

This is a grille I got. I don't like it (at all), not my cup of tea, but i'm thinking once insurance irons out, i'll probably stick with the chipped up-*** CF grille and sell this as is. Only saving grace is this thing is lighter than my CF grille.

Brand new, in box, never mounted, unpainted. Sure as hell stinks, so it's newly made for sure. Sells new for apparently $250 (being insurance, it's hush hush we won't tell you what we get it for)

So I wonder if there's any interest if I were to sell it for...say, $200?

dang tough luck and it even has the ugly bend on the bottom that leaves a gap between the bumper and the grills

The bottom is actually not hugely bowed out like that, it's just the angle of the photo. I'm not actually selling it, just wondering if it's even saleable.

that sucks that the CF grille got beaten up, almost the same thing happened to that grille when it was on my car before you got it.

i had that grille a while back
it was on ebay
and it looked good in pictures but the grille i got was ugly and poorly made..it needed alot of work and had horrible fitment so i just sold it right back on ebay
i cant even explain it but it didnt even look like it was ment for the lancer because it didnt even fit in the space on the hood for our grille and it had that ugly bend on all 4 corners.
