Question help with painted headlights

yeah i got a 2002 ES Rio Red Metallic Clearcoat and i want to git rid of the chrome behind the headlights. but i was wondering if my no gloss high temp black paint would look cool or not? whats your take on how it would look? the paint is the exact color of the grill. and how do you people think it would look if i sanded off the chrome from the grille and painted that black to match the lights and the bars on the grille. thanks for the help!

yea, this topic was discussed.. but i'll leave some info here. you COULD paint over the chrome of our headlights, let alone black it out. but since our headlights are not projector lights, the chrome of our housing is there for a purpose; its there to reflect MORE light onto the road. you could do it if you want and tell us if it affects your visibility or not. but if i were you, i'd look for an extra pair of headlights, just in case you dont like the outcome of it. jaxjoker [i think thats him] is selling his pair.. iM him under WiTeNiNjA321 and inquire about it. he was selling it to me fore 180 for the pair plus shipping, but i didnt want it anymore. so feel free to iM him before he sells it.
