I'm surprised because I'm looking at MS3s too. I would think the increase in HP would be nice but I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I still miss the hell out of the 86 Beretta I had back in the day and that thing was a POS

glad to hear someone still appreciates their lancer
it seems like everyone on here is putting down the lancer
which doesnt make sence to me
ANYWAY
i swear my relationship with my lancer is a love/hate relationship
i mean its my first car so it has a lot of meaning to me plus i put alot of money into it
but then again its not that fast but im not looking to have like a 500hp evo i just would like the lancer to be a little faster lol and i really want to do a 5speed swap

Do not get me wrong i don't hate the lancer, i`m just at cross roads where i want more power, speed. i commute about 80 miles per day so its gets boring after a while driving something without speed, hsp.

Have you considered the Cobalt SS Turbo? About 30 mpg sounds good if you have that high of a commute...

I felt that way about my Jetta, my Golf and my 350z. I say, get the one car you really like. I sold my Z and moved on to an EVO X MR. Yeah I miss the Z(it was paid off) but then again, I get attached to all the cars I've owned. Now I have power, handling and a practical four door.

i owe about 11 grand and i think the struts are going, belts, i think i have an exhaust leak that's pretty much about it other than that the car is good. I don't wanna deal fixing them because in the end i could already be driving something better.

I haven`t even driven my car in 2 weeks i`ve been driving my dads Cadillac

I miss my old black 02 OZ-T a.k.a. the Pre-Vo with all the Evo goodies. It was the perfect DD in terms of comfort and performance. The Evo feels like it wants/needs to kick *** 24/7 and that gets tiring if you drive it everyday.
