anyone decent with photoshop?

Ive been thinkin about repainting my car, 2 tone. stock silver, just fix all the small dents and scrapes, and paint the hood/roof and trunk black.. and also tint my headlights yellow....

if anyone is decent with photoshop could you basically take this picture and do what i did, but in photoshop instead of paint (cuz my version of editing is WACK)

make it look like this.. (i blacked out around the intercooler also, but i dont think ill do that, not sure)

here ya go:

i don’t have a problem with yellow headlights, but if you’re going for the black and silver theme, defiantly leave your black housing headlights alone…
also, consider getting a aftermarket grille or painting your oem one to match, also notice the black side mirrors, and pick up a clear or tinted bumper reflector.
cheers

You may get more help in the photoshop forum

If done right, the two tone can look good, but careful doing the roof. If you just paint the top black it may look good but I've never see a lancer look good with the 2 tone all the way down to the bottom the windows. It's tough to get the divider right going from the windows to the trunk, never looks right if you ask me

ya im just going to paint the side reflectors black, non reflective. and tint the lights on the quarter panels...
was planning on getting a new grill and just vinyl everything to see if i like it or not, cuz its 100x cheaper then painting and finding out that you dont like it!

But my theme isnt silver and black.
im going to be getting new OZ ultraleggeras.. and my engine bay is going to be all powdercoated penny/copper/or gold and the rims will be painted to match... something along those lines.

colors are really black and gold. on a silver car.

i will be getting a vented hood shortly, and im going to get the sides painted to match my car, everything else is just in my head right now. but im focusing more on motor work right now anyways. ill be boosted by next weekend! (finally)

I would puke if my engine was copper, gold is best, I say you drop the whole silver look, and go gold with the black on top

ya. well i dont want to spend that kindamoney. i want a show car thats more go then show.. i might change the color i donno, but that would be months from now.
-im going to get some black vinyl. and make my roof/hood and trunk black.
-acolade grille
-paint the reflectors black,
-yellow tint the headlights,
-smoke the stock taillights,
-and put my oz 15 inch rims back on for time being(i need new tires).
-i might paint the 15'' oz rims black, not sure yet.
-oh, and the evo wing will come off at the same time.

only thing that really cost any money is the grille. so it should be easy. ill spray paint it black, and then vinyl it to match.

so once i finish my turbo kit, im gunna hide it for a few days and take care of all that, so the next time all my friends see it, it wont even look like the same car.

ill be doing all that in the next 2 weeks or so.. before christmas for sure
