Yea I feel that if the car is going to be flat black, it should be all black.

I guess I'll just have to wait to see it. The flat black idea always seems stealthy and gold is like the opposite...

To me its going to look like you are driving an unpainted car around....Flatblack works on some drag/drift cars but a lancer?

I guess I have to wait and see what it looks like. If it's bad then I'm going to fall back on blue metallic.

i would NOT do it yourself... not unless you have a paint booth and a mediocre spray gun.
(or a do it yourself tarped garage, with a dehumidifier in it. and sealed shut)... <--- LOL, my buddy did that.. it was the summer time, so the sun was his heat source. lol

I'm most likely going to do the flat black myself and if it doesn't turn out good then I'm taking it to a buddy and doing it at his shop.

just my 2cents..

that suby on first page is amazing but not flat black. That is more of a satin finish which has a lil shine to it. flat is a lil boring to me. something like that suby looks bad ***.

That's been discussed already and yes I'm going for a satin finish now like the STI.

He wasn't talking about the kit.
He just said he's keeping his paint job.

But yes I should be able to customize the rear bumper to fit. Everything else is A-Okay.
