^+1 There isn't anything else chromed on the car, and the chrome doesn't look right. Unless your doing the RalliArt stripping, the chrome should go!

Everytime I see your name I think it say Hydrolocked.....and I'm like wtf, why would you want to be called that. Then I read it out loud and I shake my head at myself for making the same mistake more then once.

Either black out the grill and emblem or do the Ralliart style.

Some advice... when you buy the vinyl... dont go cheap!

I picked up a piece of scrap stuff for $10 and it was really thin and a pain to get on without it ripping or bubbling.

Also... prime your grill! Mine was just painted and now the paint is starting to chip from rocks and you can see the chrome underneath... haha

I would say to just paint everything and forget about the vinyl.

I just bought a higher quality viynl piece for the middle of the front bumper and I'm going to be buying an OEM matte black front grill from a DE model lancer (they have black not chrome grills like the ES and GTS)

So I think it will look good the grill will be stock looking and then the viynl should be nice looking and will protect the front from chips, plus if/when I sell the car I could just peel it off.

Sweet...

You mentioned the OEM matte black grill is about $100. Did you already get a discount on it? There's a person named Bill on this forum who works in East Providence Mitsubishi's part department. He might be able to help you out here. I ordered my RalliArt taillight from him.

black it out with no plate on the side. Fits the evo (maybe) just looks too much on the bumper. besides it looks hot when you just have the clean balanced finish of just blacked out bumper and thats it.
