God must hate Street Glow...

Soooo... I have had this blue street glow kit sitting in my garage for the last 3 months, I got it for free when I went to pick up a body kit from a guy. His gf bought it for him and he never I installed it, so I happily took it and just thought why not. Well I finally got around to Installing it last night, and normally I don't like underglow on cars, but Damn! My white oz looks so bad a$$ with the blue glow! I also have blue interior blue lights as well...
Well it was like 3 in the morning and I was driving home on the freeway from putting it on at my buddies house.... And there is a huge big tire right in the middle of my lane! I quickly dodge it, and 1.3 seconds later after I veered off into another lane, there is another fatty tire, and I run right over it on my passnger side. $#!t!!!
I didn't even think about the glow at the time, I got home and I try to hit the switch, and they turn on, for like half a second, and then off. So I go under the car and check out the side the tire hit, and it ripped of 2 of the mounts off the car, and broke the bulb in like 3 different spots. And since the guy had it in his garage for like 3 years, street glow no longer sells the same type of bulb...

So it was cool for the 15 minutes it worked, wish I could have had it for longer.

That just shows you that underglows aren't for our cars.

Think of if as God doing you a favor and saving you from the embarrassment and flaming that would have ensued

Haha, ya I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Atleast it wasn't pink tho!

It sure was funny pulling up to a stop light in Hollywood and flipping it on, watching the old guy in the the car next to me look so confused on what he just saw. It was a good way to get attention, not sure if it's the attention you wanna be getting, but it does turn ppls heads.

I wouldn't say SG isn't made for Lancers. Its just not for people who run over tires

I have a 3 Million color underglow kit and I love it I can have whatever color I feel like

White underglow is BA. Sometimes I use white (my car is blue), and it looks pretty sweet but for the most part I use blue or aqua or purple if I'm feeling really girly

All of my interior is done blue so it did look awesome when it was all on. It might look ricey on civics, but on my car it just looked cool.... for 15 minutes or so. It was fun installing, plus i love wiring new things up in my car. I have never run over any tires like that before!

Haha, C'mon you know you rocked that pink underglow when no one was looking! J/k j/k lol....
The car looks so much better without all that pink mesh btw. I have the same body kit as you i just have to get it painted and then i will be as cool! Do you still have your pink? Wanna give me the side piece so i can have half blue/ half pink?!

Haha, that would be so ridiculous if it was done

I agree with you. Some cars can pull it off much better than others. There's lots of civics and cavaliers here with really poor underglow (not bright at all) and you can see the tubes dangling from the chassis... it looks HORRIBLE. Not to mention you also get distracted by the sound of their very loud fart cans...

If you decide to get glow again, go with the Gold Series kit

And don't run over anymore tires!!!
