Cedias-eBay Projectors-HIDs??? noob help me out :P

ok so when i wrecked my car my fender got pushed forward and broke one of my head lights. insurance is giving me like 275 to replace it... lol. so im goin to be buying a hole new set.

so anyway, i want HIDs!!! ive herd people say you cant use hid kits in the ebay projectors.. why is this?

so should i just get some cedia dual beams and a nice hid kit? i know you have to do some stuff with the wiring harness, but im currently in school studding to be an electrician so im sure i can figure it out.

whats a good not over priced hid set up? also, are cops very **** about having 8-10k's? id like to get some blue ones .

ha anyway, give me some input guys.

k im confused..

i think the cedia headlights dont use our lightbulds(9007) which means you have to rewire the socket for whatever they require..

so if you wanted an HID kit i dont see a problem, you would just need a hid univeral kit for that new bulb size.. the universal adapter kits are all pretty simple to do.. but honestly i can say its not worth the cost....

your talking about spending 200 or so on new headlight hosings.. and 300 for a hid kit.. plus a few hours of electrical work that you may or may not be able to do..

my suggest, go get some depo's.(we arent in benz's). sure there cheap, but they work, and look decent. if you want it to look special, like blue, or orange, go to eurodesign and get some of there 9007 bulbs.. they look great if you want a color.. (ill be switching to yellow bulbs, with a yellow film over my depo headlights)

when is your car going to be fixxed btw? because i still wanted to come to atl and do a photoshoot with both our boosted lancers
