hey all. I recently did some DIY mods with some black paint and some cheap vinyl. also took off the rear badges.
I also just bought a nikon d80, so i was very anxious to take some sweet photos.
let me know what you think.
(most of these were done with bracketing, then the exposures were merged with photomatix.)

Coilovers You wouldn't be happier. I love electric blue. Looks sharp. If the female who purchased the last electric blue minutes before I made my purchase, that would have been my color. I needed a car right away though so graphite was the next best thing.

 

Car looks great. Get a drop and a shorty antenna to lose the r/c car look. Pics are awesome, you got some skill there

to azn ghetto: it's a nikkor dx 18-135mm zoom. half the reason why i bought this camera in particular was for the lens. it's wicked nice.

to lancerlover: i do see your point, having coilovers would be really nice. but i can't quite see myself putting $900 into the suspension of a car that'll rarely (if ever) see a track. it needs better tires first! i'd be happy with a simple 1" drop up front and .5" on the rear. i think that would give it a nice looking rake.

 

it's just some satin black paint that i got from an auto paint store. it's holding up pretty well, so i'm happy with it.
