his car looks so nice, i really would love to get that kit off him. shipping from japan is just retarded high so i have held off on ordering one of my own. its the only kit i have ever really liked on our cars.

(that random bracket holding the muffler is a little out of place, it just stands out in that pictures)
That's because you haven't seen what I've been cooking in my kitchen yet

As for my damn muffler... I couldn't help that at the time. Kinda like the price I had to pay at the time for running a shortie rear bumper LOL.

Well in all humility, It's not even running yet. Juan's comment about my car is not quite true yet. At least your car is running and boosting strongly Demon.

Oo.. seee i knew i would get a picture ... are you converting it to awd? i think your setup will cost you more then i spent on my motor so far.. looks good.. i would love to do the same, but i think my custom kit is good enough for me, ill more then likely get an evo sometime soon as my new dd.

Yeah it's being converted to AWD... that part is probably the most difficult part of the whole swap. We were able to get the motor in and bolted up in about a day's worth of work... but the whole rear end deal has been quite an experience in fabrication LOL.

As for the costs... It was reasonable... it really helps if you do the work yourself. I know of that guy that swapped a 6.5 TME motor into his 04 Lancer... and he paid a shop somewhere around 10k+ just to drop the motor in and get it running...

As for the EVO... I had thought about trading my Lancer in for an EVO countless times, and almost had when I got a really good quote for an IX at Long Beach Mitsu... but I see way more EVOs here in my neck of the woods than even regular UNMODDED Lancers... I really don't want to fall into that following. And besides, I have a lot of fond memories with this car of mine... it was the first car that I bought on my own. It's paid off and I like how it looks.

Oh and another thing... boosted Lancers can be quite impressive too... a friend of mine (i'm not going to mention his name) smoked a certain EVO shop car (i'm not going to mention the shop's name either...).

I can't wait to see your numbers Demon.

I'm considering the same thing, only I"m staying FWD. My goal isn't an evo swap. I define evo swap as the whole awd thing. I"m just doing a 4g63t swap. I'm looking to find a way to make that as easy as possible so other Lancer owners will finally have an option, but not have to go through all the work. Simply put, I"m trying to out do the whole thing about how easy honda owners have it when it comes to swaps.
