i guess you posted this thread for feedback so... i think it looks terrible. Way too much nonsense going on, you don't have an evo, leave the VG and wing off the car. The rear window visor looks good on very few EVOs. Two-tone rarely looks good and yours is no exception. Ebay parts are cheap and you get what you pay for, and why the slotted rotors? did you know that they make your car stop worse under regular driving conditions (less surface area for the pads to grab). Just my opinion but it's your car.

Every one's open to their own opinion. To each their own. Every Evo owner I met in my area had nothing but positive comments about my car, but nevertheless of course their are going to be people that aren't going to like my setup. cheers

Rebirth Teasers

After a year of non-running due to blown headgaskets, misfires, and not being able to pass smog...

Now time to wait and get back into the lancer community

props to you for doing that - it's a lot of work and great job - but it's also what makes the evo community a laughing stock - nothing personal

pao....to the above statement props for the first part being a positive affirm of sX's car but when you say "nothing personal" as to saying an insult for making his car how HE wanted it....it's like a slap in the face....honestly, I'd love to own an Evo one day, but truth be told they are very expensive. I like sX have an OZ rally and I am modding it just like sX does that mean I am making the evo community a laughing stock? you should be happy people want to make their cars look like yours. Don't say something positive and then bring it down with something negative just makes people think twice

And what does this post have to deal with my thread? If you don't have anything to talk about my timeline then don't post here. Thanks.

Jealousy maybe? There are many evo guys that think just cause you add a few evo parts you are trying to make your car an evo. Where you may just be trying to make your car look how you like it. The car looks great man and can't wait to see what you do with that engine. Oh and Good job on getting a better camera . Might not remember but i was the first person to post in this thread when you first started it.

Just thought i'd throw my two cents in. I will give you props for making your car unique. Yes it ain't an evo but there's no rule book in modding cars. But since I get a lot of design criticsm and tips from my friend at pasadena art college here in cal and my own sense of style, your car has some things that are a design no_no. First is color. If you're going to do two-tone, its gotta make sense. It looks as though you didn't have enough money to do it so the side skirts and part of the front was painted black.you would've been better off with one color all around with the carbon as accents. Second is balance. If you're going for a carbon look, its gotta balance both sides. It feels like there's too muxh carbon in the back and just the hood in the front. Third, the wheels. The lancers have such little wheels for the wheelwells they have. The stock wheels don't back up the bulkiness of the parts you added on. Slap some bigger and wider tires and it will look damn good. Now, don't take these as bashing you, just stuff I noticed off the bat. But most importantly, if you're doing all that to your car and making it look like an evo, it better perform like one. I think of it this way, for every exterior mod I do, I back it up with a performance mod. So for all those mods you did, back that ish up with a turbo! Again, its not bashing you, the build takes passion and work and that's what you got bro. Update when you can!
