lancer 2008 front lip!!
I ordered the lip from Scorpion Body kits and I'm very pleased with the service so far. I live in Quebec and these guys are like in Malaysia, the lip got here in 5 business days or so, in perfect condition I may add.
The lip seems very robust to me (I'm no pro though). But it is not made of some cheap plastic that will brake easily.
Only downside for me was the price... They charged $280.80 US for shipping + lip to Canada. Not too bad considering its from the other side of the world. However in CAN $ I ended up paying around 390$... I had to pay an extra 42$ for brokerage fee and taxes etc... Gotta say the exchange rate is horrible right now for us.
My problem now is I don't know where to go to have this thing put on my car! I can't seem to find a shop that does body kit jobs. What kind of shop do you guys go for this?

Actually... its an 08... so its the extinct "Electric Blue"
with the parts ($280 or so), boat shipping and ($160 TERRBLE IDEA, dont), customs & warehousing in cali ($150), train shipped and stored in warehouse (less than a day) in tampa fl ($110)... it was too much... but now you can find this stuff on ebay... or you could go the better route and use DHL ($400) and it should come to your door.
To scorpionkits, I realize it was ther first time sending to Florida and they offered me free shipping on my next order as I got bad shipping prices from them so, its cool and I would order from them again, I guess.
Mine didn't come in the greatest condition.. thankfully I have a friend who owns a bodyshop... he showed me where the thing cracked and was bonded back together.. he went over it again.. and even better to make sure it doesn't have a problem.
If you can paint it, just have someone hold it in place... go under your car... drill and then rivet the thing on.. it has flaps for everywhere you should rivet... double-side tape the part that sits on your lower grill and your done.
sorry to repeat but... just copied and pasted from the last answer...

sooooo badass guy. so i live in sask canada. except i just want the rear lip. how much was just the rear? and why is boat shipping a bad idea just cuz of the condition you got yours in? which shipping method while staying rather cheap is the best way to go in your opinion?
I'm sure I'm late but is this the same lip (I'm sure it is) that RRM put on their site for $229? check the link http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/s...roducts_id=536
