Hey well i just repainted my console a few weeks ago and when i was all set and done i noticed that my "green" cigarette light didn't light up any more. I think i mite have tugged on too hard when i was taking the center console off. What do you guys think mite be the problem?

 

Probably a bad plate light.

i took the darn thing apart quickly today to check it out and every thing seemed to be intact nicely. Still no light

 

bulbs probably blown, change it. i tried to change mine but the 74leds i bought didnt fit good so i said fuc it and left it without lights, who needs those lights anyway :P

 

check the fuse behind the coin box could be that or the bulb ^ like he said

 

could it be a fuse? i mean it was working fine before i took my console apart. Ill take a harder look this weekend. what would be the replacement bulb # or model idk squat about lights. I have a hunch though it might be the wiring. I remember fiddiling with the lighter for ever to take it off.

 

it could be, doesnt hurt to check, does it give power to something that pluged in to it. if not then its the fuse if it does then its probably the bulb. the bulb is like ohfour said 74 and it the same as the ashtray, you should swap the bulb with the ashtray one to see if you get it to light up.
