if i had the money i'd get the zenon. because i don't i'm getting the kaminari. because it seems like you do, i'd say go for the zenon.

 

if you don't have the money to get the kit you want then why not put your money into performance before adding weight to your car with a kit that is your 2nd choice?

 

never said i'm going straight for the kit. but yeah- my first savings go into the turbo kit whenever it comes around.

 

I believe that changing the stock bumpers will actually LIGHTEN the car.....look into the stock bumper...it's filled with sound deadening material, pluss you could prob. drop those 5mph crash rolling pins....i hear they weigh upwards of 10lbs. Kaminari kit, definatley, but i think i'd leave out the rear bumper.

 

possibly, but you're also dealing with more surface area s.a=mass, mass x density = something... might have to get a calculator, but it would be hard to lighten the car unless someone wants to make a carbon fiber hood kit. HINT HINT RRM

 

maybe someone should just stick to their stock lancer and just cut it up

 

The Kaminari kit is ugly, the Zenon kit is cool. But, I would go with an Evo. VII kit.

As I write this my Kaminari front bumper is being painted at the body shop. The side skirts and rear apron are on their way. I'll post pics of the car as soon as i get them all on. In my opinion the Kaminari kit is just as good looking as the Zenon kit. I personally liked the Kaminari more because one it's cheaper( and when you're saving for a turbo this is a huge plus) and two it gives the car a more agressive look without changing it too drastically. I bought this car because of how it looked and i think the Kaminari kit retains more of the car's stock look than that of the zenon kit.

 

if you wanna see the zenon body kit in a different color thatn blue... go to www.roadracemotorsports.com they have a yellow one and it looks far better than the blue because of thew color. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a like to see more pics of that yellow lancer. Its sweet!

 

the kaminari kit looks good when the car is dropped because that kaminari car is already dropped!!!!!

I would say go for the Xenon kit cuz I think it looks much better. I found a website on another forum that gives some realy nice pics of the Xenon kit. Its odd tho....they seem to call it the "Shark Racing GT kit." Oddly enough, its the same old kit. Enjoy
