but the guy said "My almost finished Lancer to Evo". i mean it does look good but the fact he's saying that it looks like an evo when it doesnt even come close to it. i give thumbs up for people that dress up their car but not to people that have regular lancers claiming it as an evo.

Hey i dont tell people i have an evo if they ask me i say its a Lancer OZ. I just think it looks more like an evo then a US lancer. Only us people from this fourm can really tell the difference. because we know an evo has a different hood scoops and 5 lugs not 4. We would also notice on the OZ it has rear drums and small discs in front. My thought are the SPEED IS DUMB and KILLS! I have 2 DRAG RACING tickets on my license with this OZ. Maybe if you have a track to go to race there. I plan on turb this winter if i can save some money. But i love my car sinces its my hard earned money and work and time went into it. By the way i hope my car turns out like the one you linked onto this thread, I mean i wish i can get $15,000 out of my car.

 

your car's nice.. brings originality coz your car is the first i've seen that kit put on.. but dont forget the differences in the evo's widebody, the momo steering wheel, the recaro seats, and oh yea, that big *** mother f***in intercooler!

 

Not to mention the Evo's bumpers are completely different!

 

i think the car looks really good and the fact is it isnt an EVO flippin conversion in the first place. the body kit isnt the stock evo 7 kit its an entirely diffrent kit. the paint job is one of the best i have ever seen on a yellow lancer too. and as many have said he has a few more things to do but is headed in the right way for sure. way to go and great job. i think people are hating cause we all wish we had cars that looked that good when we were 17 hehe

i think its funny that people are bagging on this guys car because its a crappy evo conversion but the guy that got that stock style evo 7 body kit on another thread is a hero and his car is super great....silly ****ers the lot of you

back to the kit. i think it looks good! just definately remove the grill and you'll be straight. looking good man. the only cars worth bashing are the idots who put bodykits on rust buckets and think they're hot ****. those are the real IDIOTS. good job

Not a fan of the styling, but I'm not the one who's driving it so it doesn't really matter, now does it?

I think the color should be matched up like on the wing and whatnot, but not bad overall. I also happen to agree with Qt on the ebay car thing. It looks like that parts were bought off ebay...and that's neither good nor bad.

The bottom line is it's good as long as it puts a smile on your face. Anyone else's is just a bonus.
