16g custom DIYers

Mmmmm I think I may be the first to have this done!
Evo Injen Lower and Upper Intercooler Pipes!
It was a bit of a pain to try and get the upper intercooler pipes to fit properly, but I got it to fit perfectly! Needs a little bit of manipulating and the mounting bracket needed to be cut off (kept getting caught on frame and battery)
Had to buy extra radiator hose from autozone after about an hour of browsing through their selection of hoses to see what best fits my application. Sure enough I found one that fits perfectly like OEM but just a tad long, so I chopped it and fitted it right up to the BOV!

Felt a decrease in turbo lag! Got a custom 3" exhaust and 3" O2 housing
Now just waiting on a new manifold and downpipe! Pics will come later

I guess I should try to track down some pipes then Do you have the stock evo intake with an extension on it?

How's the ams fit?

Why did you have to get another hose?

boohoo ill stick to my own custom 3inch intercooling piping... ill add a k&n sticker on it and say i bought it from them. just kidding.. i think there are only 5 bends in my IC piping all together, from turbo to intake manifold. bootleggers is(or should be) identical to mine routing wise from what i have seen. going to be a few really nice/quick lancers in my area... all but me because i cant go full throttle without blowing my motor.. lol

You don't need an extension. The stock pipes fit perfectly fine.

The setups I had before with the blow off valve wouldn't reach the outlet and inlet pipes of the Intake and Upper Intercooler pipe.

Yea it's kinda frustrating after a while, but once you get it, it's well worth it!
