i dont really like altezza's. but if it matches the car like the black one than go for it. it just looks ricey on any car. for example ... a 96 teal accord with white altezzas ... doesnt really look right to me. btw, whats the difference between altezzas and tyc? ..

 

i ALWAYS see those teal accords with altezzas in jersey!! hahaha especially in jersey city.. but there's two different types of altezzas for our cars if thats wut ur asking. RRM makes the one identical to the evo's [the lights on the yellow lancer pic] and TYC makes the ones DRC Imports has on his car [black lancer pic]

 

The one on yellow lancer looks like an Evo tails.

 

hahaha .. yeh when i go to jc taking the palaski skyway (or how ever u spell it) i see madd people with altezzas speeding pass by me trying to race. this one time i was going to the holand tunnel and some silver sedan accord with altezzas and duel exhaust cut me off .. (i think one was just for show cause only one had exhaust coming out of it)

sorry for hijacking your thread flashangel.. but back to topic.. if i were you, i'd get dark housing altezzas, either gunmetal or carbon fiber. chrome ones just seem too plain..

 

naw its not mine .. i usually park in the parking deck (two blue evo 8s r in there) makes me feel bad when i seen em ... hahahah. i think some girl drives that yellow lancer on mlk blvd.


altezza would look good on a car but u just gotta get the right type. theres a yellow is300 by my house and it looks hot *** hello with white altezzas. go for the black type if ur car is dark .. or CF if u got a CF spoiler, trunk, or hood.

 

My .02cents, go with the carbon fiber from RRM.

 

go with the black. they look sharp on yellow.

Ok, so it's tied still so far, I'm starting to lean towards the chrome ones cuz they look more like Evo lights. I think darker ones always look better on dark cars. I'm not tryin to look ricey at all, just sharp like the Evo, I don't even have anything else done to my car yet, and I don't think I'll be getting the tail lights for awhile, just wanted an opinion. I think the huge Evo spoliers look ridiculous on the Lancer, Kaminari spoiler all the way, not to mention the hideous body kits that are HUGE and over power the whole look of the car. There are only a few Lancers out there that I actually like.

I like the TYC lights..they look so clean. And i like dark tails on DARK cars light on light cars..chrome on silver, white, and yellow lancers. black or cf on black, red, t.gray, n.blue, maroon, etc..

it has a more uniform appearance when you blend colors rather than trying to contrast it. girl, i'd say go with what you like. it all depends what your style is.

i have a yellow oz too and i'm planning on getting the chrome tyc's. but then again, i don't plan on having my car yellow in the future
