Paint crack

so some idiot managed to dent my car's trunk while it was getting tinted today. They denied everything and said it probably happened somewhere else. I brought it to a paintless dent remover and he did phenomenal job removing the dent as well as another one on the side of my car. THe problem is that the dent from the tint place on the trunk of my car is now a small crack. i went over it with some clear coat, but i am so pissed right now. any idea if this can be fixed easily or do i need a new paint job on the trunk now???

thanks

depends on how big the crack is and weather or not there is enough separation to use touch up paint and buff after its cured.

pics would be helpful

Drcolorchip.com sells a good paint chip and scratch repair kit. And after its cured, can be buffed and waxed to make chips and scratches almost invisible.

If I were you I would first talk to the owner of the company and explain what happened.
If that gets you nowhere, If they are a franchise or publicly traded company I would get in touch with head office.

If they are a private company and you get nowhere with the owner just let him know you will make sure any future business of yours or colleagues is taken elsewhere.

I wouldn't stand for a second being called a liar straight to my face seeing as it sounds as though thats what they did.

Its known mitsu paint is very thin, scratches and chips easily.

What the guy above me said is true, pics will help, regardless I'd be sending the tint place the bill and making sure they covered it and if not made sure others went elsewhere for tint.
Seems like many people are so quick to take your money these days and could careless about the actual customer. Shame..

just my 2cents.

ok ill see what i can do for pics. its basically a small crack about 2 cm long. the dent guy recommended only putting clear coat over it because of how crappy mitsu's touch up is
