Looks pretty good, it'll probably look better when the car's clean. You should have hit the brake light with the niteshades while you were at it.

well i left it clear for some contrast also to prevent cops pullin me over because if theyre thinkin "this guys brake lights are too dim, he needs a ticket" then i hit my brakes and that 3rd light shines bright



yes it is reversible..jus take a rag with some gasoline on it and itll come off

 

make sure after you use the gasoline you light a match too....it'll come right off

You must be stupid to use gasoline. Get some M.E.K. at Home Depot and it works better than gasoline and its relatively safer...
Just wash it off quickly if you get it on your skin. I just dumped the M.E.K. on the tail light itself and then wiped it off with a rag.

whats m.e.k. stand for

 

Methyl Ethyl Ketone. Its a chemical compound for stripping things. Its very strong stuff. Can be very dangerous if not used properly but if you follow the instructions and use it right its a very good thing to have. Do not use it inside or near flames though. When I strip my lights to redo them I always lay down a towel in the drive way and just pour the MEK on top of the light, wipe it off with a towel. Repeat til the spray is removed. Wash with soap and water before applying any new spray.

Average price is about 20 bucks a gallon. Strong stuff and goes a long way. You don't need much of it. Look for a company called Klean Strip M.E.K. Blue container with white letters. Should be able to get it at any local hardware store and some auto stores sell it.
