I an a newbie driving a 02 Lancer Es. I am looking for inexpensive suggestions to maje my ride look and run sharp. I dont have a lot of cash so i need things I can do myself under $200.00us.

Is it manual or automatic. I mean you get what you pay for so you cant get a huge amount of hp or anything with a shortened amount of cash. But if you want something now check out www.roadracemotorsports.com and they have a grip of things for our cars. For Under 200 bucks you could get one of these:
tint, intake, test pipe, evo grill, strut bar, springs, tail lights. You decide. But like I said check out RRM alright. Good luck

 

can you get exhaust for relatively cheap? How much does that run for?

I've seen mufflers on eBay for $40 - $70. Is this a good deal? I'm looking to get some more power / better sound / better gas milage. Would one of these mufflers do the trick?

 

Nice custom cat-back exhaust can run u $250 with ur choice of muffler (that the shop provides).

 

I have an automatic, I realize I wont be drag racing but I just want to add some inexpensive addons that will make me stand out a little. I am talking about 200.00 every couple months as I can save up. My wife will kick my butt if I spend too much.

You can make your own intake for under $40. Thats what I did. I have an auto also, and i'm in pretty much the same situation as you.

 

you could get the RRM short ram intake, the RRM k-bar, the RRM evo 7 grill w/ eyelids, or a RRM throttle body for about 290.

 

s2000 antenna...nuff said cheap, easy, nice lookin mod. and itll leave u with 180 bux in ur pockets

 

I've got eyelids for $29
