Under-car lighting laws

Does anyone know a list of under-car lighting laws? Perhaps something that lists which states it is legal in and so forth? I live in New Hampshire and I don't think it is legal(to drive with) here.

Hum as far as i know in some state they just require that you dont use the state color light such as red blue orANGE white since these are light color used fro emergancy veichels but one can use gree purple and so but that in some state in cali its completely illegal enles you on some roads where it like so dark it might help you by making yourself noticeable to other driver and some chp will look th e other way. just go to you locar pd and ask they will say no or they will help you to follow the law.

most states say that you cant have them unless for show, simply because they are too distracting to other motorists

like charles1 said, some states dont let you use the 'emergency' colors such as red, blue, or white. some states allow the complete use of underbody lights as long as you have a white color output in the front neon of your chassis. some states dont let you drive with them on at all. it all depends.. just surf the web for your local laws or just walk up to a cop and ask
