So 2 weekends ago I painted my Lancer's stock rims from that gay stock cream to a grey to match the car. Its not an exact match but its good enough to where you can't tell at all. I also painted my headlights on the inside to "smoke" them and they look great. I went to a store and got some of that night shades stuff and Im gonna spray down my tail lights to make them black, 1 coat on the headlights to darken them, and my blinker. I wanted to know though from you guys that have painted your grills on the Thunder Grey OZ's, what color did you guys use? Im going to paint mine this weekend as well as the reflector and although the color I used its close, if it were on the body I think you would notice. So I want to know what everyone else used?

 

You've got a paint code under the hood, check it and get paint to match.

My car's paint code is x42 or something... i think. I tried painting my stock grill though then sprayed it with clear coat but it turned out terrible. Unless you know what you're doing, I'd suggest going with a professional job

 

AO2 Is our paint code i believe....i actually used GM medium grey and it turned out well.








i used walmart paint and clear coat....its already chipping a little bit though.

Good point David... I would try to color match it. I painted mine black when I had it and I liked it, but it did stand out a bit...
