Yeah dude. 17's and a drop would look really good! That's what I plan on doing soon. Since you have an OZ Rally you got 15's on there right now. I'm just gonna guess that if you were to put 16's on there that you would probably regret it and want to get 17's cuz an inch difference isn't much as far as looks are concerned. My friend has 18's on his Lancer and they look good but 17's would make the car more proportional.

I had 17's. Liked them. I got 15's. Love them. My car is lowered and I think a good 15 or 16 inch rim looks very good. Added bonus, tires tend to be cheaper, and your ride is smoother. Plus my wheels weigh only 9 lbs!

depends. 17s for looks. 16 are more desired if you attend weekend club racing events (ie, scca auto-x, etc...)

In my opinion, 17"s are the perfect size, they look good, and you still have enough tire
to not break your back from the ride. Get some 17x7 or 17x7.5 Wheels and some 215/40/17 Tires.
That's a really good set up

do u have 215/45's?

YEs 17's look awesome with a drop but i agree with amby 17' for show 16's for go.
Right now i make 339hp to my front wheels and i have 17's they dont get any traction even with 205/45r17 bridgestone RE-11 race compund tires. so if your going for all show 17 and 16 if you want some power

Do you mean 339 WHP or 339 crank HP? 339 crank is believable but 339 WHP is a bit high. RE-11s aren't race compound tires, they're still a street tire. I have their ancestors, the RE01Rs and while sticky, they're nowhere near R-compound level.

go: 15" or 16".. i have the 15" konig helium and they're fairly light.
show: go 17".. i think 18" is too big for a lancer.

I've got 4 Brand New 18" Rims that I DON'T WANT. There just too big and I doubt I would be able to put a drop kit on my 03 OZ if I put the 18's on. So I'm going with 17's. I don't mean to piggy back off of Justin's post but does anybody know what size the best dementions are for 17's? Hight/Wedth/Offset/ect?
