Why try to match them at all? I hate red. Eventually I'll get everything blue...cept maybe the needles on the gauges.

Bulb "condoms"

The red bulb covers are not that hard to find. Just remember that all new Pontaics have red instrument diplays. Just take one bulb out since all three are the same in the dash go to a Pontaic parts dept and ask for three red covers for that bulb. thats what i did the only had one right then but the next day the other two showed up. i just ordered covers for the lights in the power windaow button and in the dimmer switch.

Red bulb paint turns out pink for some reason and blue bulb pain turns out the same nasty bluish green color. I dipped my micro bulbs from the AC console so many times trying to get the right color that I ended up replacing them just so the light would shine thru again. So far I've had the best luck with liguid latex. Again the procedure is the same as bulb paint. Just secure the bulb to fishing line string etc and dip the bulb in the paint or latex to get an even coat. I'm still not happy with the result and WILL somehow replace every bulb in the interior to match the indigo blue of the stereo.

I just finished installing mine today.... I didn't cut up the dome lights though.. i just bought the small ones and just pushed them down. The squinched up a bit, but they should be okay. I did my center console, ashtray, cig lighter, dome light, and trunk light. When it gets dark enough outside I'll take a few pics...

I was also going to install some neon pedals but the thing isn't getting power from the little box where the two pedal wires connect. I think there is a problem regulating the power in it because everywhere else i have no problem with the power... anyways, gonna return em and get another pair.... At least i have everything ready to be knotted up....
