What do you see wrong with this evo that they say is like the movie one? OK ill tell you it doesn't have the body kit that the movie had.

 

the only things similar on that evo 8 is the paint job, the wing, the rims, and the graphics.. if some people are still confused, the evo in the movie was an EVO SEVEN.. holy jeebus..

 

i'd take that car any day... i'll just rip off the decals and replace the park bench.

 

Originally when the movie was being made Mitsu was going to bring the Evo VII to the states. Then came the realization that it would not pass regulations here and would need to be modified hence the introduction of the VIII.

 

a while back there was a company that imported VIIs but it took so long to legalize them with the paperwork and the emissions and whatnot...I dont know if they're still around...EvolutionImports i think it was . I think they were right here in SoCal...Santa Ana or somethin...

 

Does mitsu have any plans for 2004-2005 Evo 9's? or are they just gonna keep the evo 8 and just mod it alil different each year?

haha, I saw that car in the movie when they were all coming out of the big *** garage at the end.. I really hate automtic cars that spoiler is FUGLY!! but what do you expect, every car in the fast and the furious has too have one... it was probably a requirement!
