Lancer es v6 twin turbo awd & evo body
seems like a lot of projects and a lot of scrap.
with no real - fabrication or assembly of any kind going on.
Im all for freaks of nature being built. But - really? this? um.. yeah.

This project seems to be going through so many changes without a direct goal. I was a fan but i'm starting to lose interest....
Hope you get the lancer running so you can still drive it

Its always a good idea in these forums that when you do a project like this, to keep it to yourself until its done, or almost done. Too many people waiting and doubting, loose interest in your project real fast when you go through this many changes, with really no advancement to show.
I to was a fan when i saw the project start. Now... Eh..
Sorry if thats harsh. Good Luck getting it finished.

Hello,
I cant doubt you as I do not know you but I do hope you can find your parts as in the pictures it looks very unorganized like you just have a bunch of random parts, wires and etc laying everywhere. Is there no way to more neatly organize your work area?
BTW, Where did you get the parts so cheaply as 300bucks for full set of back and front Recarro seats sounds very cheap.
Anyway, Just pay attention to what those guys where saying so youll not get crushed by your car. It would such to read obiturary that says a person got dead while trying to build the cheapest lancer by getting crushed by the cheapest lancer.
I think its not impossible to build a cheaper fast car though as money would be spent on preformance parts rather than on the car itself or the emblem car represents etc.

I try to take my time waiting for the right deals, jumped on the fenders to quick. But I would consider myself a great bargain shopper hahah =)
Will post pics next week of the the new subframe mounts!
Yea the wiring sucks for sure, hooking it all up to isn't bad just because 95% of the plugs are different. Its just trying to make room for them in the panels is the hard part haha.

I honestly couldn't tell you for sure, but i'm pretty sure the chassis's are different from the 90's to 00's so it would probably be about the same amount of work. But I could be wrong.
its a cool project, but like alot have said, we have seen most of these pictures before... and i thought the exterrior was already finished.. o well.. keep updates coming, its always interesting to see custom projects going.
ill stick to the simple swap.. just build the stock motor on a stand, then swap it with a big turbo.. or go with a 4g64, swaping bellhosings and 2 custom motor mounts honestly isnt much at all.... its honestly 10x easier then 2000 man hours of fabrication on a awd or rwd swap... and your final output will probably be better with a built 4g94 or 4g64, and still cost 10x less..
