I can see both sides to this. On the one hand I personally think it links pretty cool (especially the mitsu logo-i think he was trying to go for a "rugged" or jagged look for it), however I can also see how people would think it's too much. I think the lighting in the vents is also pretty cool. Props to that.

IMO I think the lighting around the shifter is a cool idea but I think it needs to have a cover around it... kinda like something to channel the light through. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It looks a little loud just casting light everywhere.

Anyway that's my 2 cents. to the effort you put into modding the car!

"Looks photoshoped to me."

Nope no photoshop... They just look so sketchy because I didn't have a tripod...

And thanks Daedalus2051 for describing exactly what I was going for with the Mitsubishi symbol I actually recently redid it completely... And I think I know what you're talking about with the shifter halo I currently removed it until I redo it...

Actually it's not too bad I had pretty near the same lighting in my old pathfinder so I'm used to it

It is no way tastefully done. Should've stopped with the floor lighting IMO.
I agree with this guy.
The floor accents aren't bad at all, it's once you started putting them in
the vents and cupholders and shift boot that it got a little ridiculous...

I think that idea would be pretty sweet but I wouldn't even know how to get the switches to hook up to the hot/cold dial... lol

Glad I could help explain, even though now it's completely changed lol. Nice job with version 2 man, that looks professionally done. Very smooth and nice full lighting behind it.

Would be cool to have it change with heat/cold. I would imagine you would have to hook it up to the resistor that controls the temperature, but doing that might screw up the voltage that's supposed to control the temp.

Regardless of what everyone's opinion is, remember: it's your lancer and your style. Do what you like. Props.

Thanks for the props... I've been telling myself that it's a nice style for me but a lot of people are really ignorant and rude when the coment I think it's just to get a rise but oh well... It's nice to hear that it's nice but not someones elses style but a few people on other spots that I posted these pics just call me a ricer and say it's "ugly as f!#@" But oh well each to their own...

dont let em get you down. the only way to get better at this stuff is to do it. i have dumped alot of money into cars over the years and always to go faster, but its never fast enough and a waste of money, at least lights are cheap. if you like it thats all that matters. no matter what you do there will be some one that hates it. and there is not a person on this forum that hasnt done something that someone else considers rice.

keep it up and im sure you will get better at the fine details
