Exclamation How to Install Aftermarket Seats

How do you install Aftermarket seats into a OZ Lancer? I think I read somewhere that our seatbelt is part of the stock seat. Is that true?

I'm almost sure you need the new brackets, RMR has them and DRCimports i think has them, but talk to someone who has new seats and ask them what they did, it might depend on brands, but i don't think so

You can also go to mmrusa.com they make brackets, but run about $137 per bracket.

So far I think there's only been one Lancer who's had new seats put in. I think (this was a loooong time ago) it was bcustom125 or some name quite similar. Probably could run a search for Sparco Torinos as those were the seats he had put in.

i have seen multiple lancers with after market seats in and from what i can gather you buy the brakets from rmr then you buy sliders that come with the seats you want but thats just what ithink but its a nice bump for yah

I put some seats in mine. You have to take the seat bealt buckle off the stock seat. Brackets from RMR (run about 65 each) have a place for the stock buckle to attach. If you order anything other than Sparco (like I did) you will have to have someone weld the bracket to the sliders (that should come with the seats). Then just bolt them in. Thats it.

i love U9V. hes helped me with all my questions about aftermarket seats. he da man.

My R-1 seats are collecting dust in my room because i cant get a hold of anyone to buy those damn RMR seat brackets!

SO IF ANYBODY GET A HOLD OF DRC IMPORTS..because i cant seem to..what is shipping to 78154 for those brackets?
i would LOVE to actually get to use the seats!
