I like the look of the Accolade kit, but it just seems to look really weird without foglights. Would finding fitting foglights be pretty easy, or would you have to have them custom made?

no i'm pretty sure the standard piaa's that you see on all the evo style bodykits will work. they generally make all the foglight holes the same size on all the bodykits. you should have no problems finding the lights.

Then I think with some work, the Accolade Evo V kit can look great. Here's a messy newb photochop I did.

now i have been fighting for months to get jtautostyle to make a kit and they finally agreed. sure the kit is the same style they make for many cars but it is a style that works it looks good. they made a mistake by putting that horrible hood on the car though. the back of the jtautostyle kit is horrid. my take on the front bumpers of the two in question are this
jtautostyle has a more origional style i think. as far as evo kits.
the accolade kit looks great, but, you run into the same problem i have with the evo 7 kit available. it is a direct copy of a real evo kit.
jtautostyle is inspired by evo but not a direct copy.

I talked to LancerOzRally35 (east coast distributer for accolade) and was gonna order the evo kit until he told me fitment was not guaranteed like the apex 2 kit so thats what im going with, I would love the evo kit but can't afford to fix it if the fitment is off. Also don't like the part of taking the front bar out.

yeah the accolade looks real nice but only if it has lights, kinda odd w/o them. WHAT, i thought all kits now had near perfect fitment, and that they test fit them before hand and pre-drilled them??? im confused now

definately shouldnt judge either of the kits on that disgusting hood. i wouldnt discount the jtautosytle kit by the hood pretend its not there on both kits.

and just a question. how is the jtautostyle kit "rice"? just curious.

my only other problem with both kits is they are available for so many other cars as someone earlier pointed out the jtautostyle kit is available for many models and the accolade kit looks just like all the kits the mirage guys get.

there's fitment issues with the evo5 kit? major suck. i *was* going to invest in it, but not if there are problems. also, what is this about having to remove the front & rear reinforcements? i thought they could be kept on with their kits...?

JWERNER test fits every kit so there shouldnt be issues... Some kits require you to remove the front bar others dont, it depends on what style. You will only have to remove the front bar and you can combine for a mix & match kit from their large selection check out the group buy hes setting up.. hes a great guy!
