Vinyl on front bumper

Vinyl on front bumper
Was thinking about getting some black vinyl for the front bumper, however i have the license plate mount in the front which leaves 2 holes.
my question-
should i get the holes filled before putting the vinyl on or do you think it will be ok.? The holes are not that big but I dont know if the vinyl will sink into the them.
