Steering wheel

Does anyone have an aftermarket steering wheel??? Or does anyone what hub or installtion kit works for a lancer. I would get a evo wheel but i live in canada so that is 1100 for a wheel, so i need to find a aftermarket one that will fit.

yeah, check the wheels at tekniqauto.com. if you want a deal let me know which wheel you want, and I can get the price dropped since I'm friends with them. MOMO made a hub adapter 2 weeks ago, im getting one imported from Vancouver right now!!

I've heard that both the Momo and Sparco hubs don't work on the Lancer.

sparco does have a hub for the lancer/evo, however they only have two prototypes. one was one the project evo they did this summer and the other they sent to engeniering headquaters to see if they could make them cost effective. i will send him another pm to check on the progress.

there is a way to get the MOMO aftermarket steering wheels put on, I saw a guy on here from Australia with a 2002 Lancer and he had a momo steering wheel installed, I PMed him to ask how he got it installed, and have never heard back from him. IF ANYONE has an update on this battle to find a steering wheel hub for the US Lancer... let me know PLEASE

I know a few of you are/have tried this--- so whats the good word?

Well, since it's not a US model then there's probably different parts, thus the reason the need for a hub adapter.

The hub form Momo does work. I don't know what part number it is, so please don't ask me. The wheel was installed by my mechanic, and he merely procured the part accordingly, and charged me for it...
