After buying my 02 ES (and after it was too late to take it back) I noticed 2 spots on the hood that look fade or like I just left wax on it. I have no idea what happend to it. Also to anyone that has rock chips get them fixed fast cause if you dont your car will look like mine with lil rust spots (why I wish I coulda taken it back in the first place). If anyone can help my Lancer please let me know Im tired of it looking like crap all the time.

 

Go to mitsu delaer and get a touchup pen for your color. They come one end withyour color then the other end with a clear coat. My silver matches pretty good, but if you look closely you can still see its touch up paint. I did that for rock chips and scrapes. For rust spots, i just put the clear coat over them so I didn't have little silver dots everywhere, but it keeps it from making the rust sposts bigger. Make sure you wash the spots first, then put the clear coat.
