Cost of Body Kit+

hey. i was wondering if anyone knew the rough cost of what the following would total on a 2003 Lancer ES:

- Accolade Apex II Body kit
- and Installation/Paint
- TYC Euro Taillights
- Cold Air Intake
- Rims (don't know which kind yet)
- and maybe some day change it to manual

search for prices....and changing it to manual will probably cost more then the car is worth....so trade in your car for a stick.

I think maybe $2500+ at least. Depending on what kind of deal you get on the installation and what kind of rims you decide to buy. This is of course not including the transmission swap.

estimates
-$650
-$800
-$175
-$200
-$1300
-whoa crap! now your talking some $$$$$$$$

somewhat of an estimate.... your looking at $3125 give or take. depending on where you get your stuff, and how much work the bodykit is going to need.

.L. did you just list paint and install for $800? ... i guess they like modders around here somewhere.. but most shops will do it for $400-600.. (molded ss's) and painted\installed -- my friends have had their kits painted for few months now and there are no chips or anything -- i'd say $800 is a rip off, so look around ! -- just my opinion

watch out on the estimate for accolade parts.... they don't include all the customs and warehousing fees. believe me, the added up for me when i bought some parts from them.

I got the Apex II kit straight from Accolade and it cost $750 for the hood, fb, rb, ss, and tail light covers that will never see my car. The tail light covers are cheap and ugly, just plastic with holes cut in to go over existing lights. To get it put on depends on where you go. For a good shop that does good work you are looking at anywhere from $1000 to $1500 to include paint and body fitting. Tail lights will run anywhere from $100 to $250, and your intake depending on what it is SRI, CAI for standard tranny can run anywhere from $120 to roughly $300. Your rims are gonna be the most expensive part if you buy good rims. Rims and tires can start anywhere from $1000 on up to what ever you can afford. So if my calculations are correct it is roughly $2970 up to $3800. This is just a rough number so do some looking for body shops, and shopping for your parts.

They are Accolade products. ya, the bumpers fit, but like anyone else we recomend that a professional install is done. The kits are their new PFRP material. We don't have any guarantees because they our not our product. They are better than the one on my car, and you can see how well that fits and how good it looks Thats about my only guarantee.

from expierence i have an apex 1 kit from them and it was suppossed to be a zenon kit. i paid 1450 for the kit which took 8 months to deliever and then 2 weeks for the install because the quality of the fiberglass was so poor and there were waves and bumps that had to be fixed and then it needed to be painted, the installation cost another 3100 and that was from the guy that worked on my other 5 cars. so my total was 4550. the kit looks liek **** and after being a victim of a hit and run at the mall one day ruining the front and back bumper, i took the piece of **** off and it is now sitting in my barn collecting dust. great way to spend 4550, dont you think

i think about 3500 $, with not changing it to manual. changing your car manual will cost you too much and later you only run into problems.

wow qourry...that's horrible...one of the horror storries from accolade. i hear they've cleaned up and that if you can get a body kit from a vendor stateside, they all test fit the kits and offer a fitment gguarntee or your money back. in that light i've decided to save up for their evo 7 kit ::
